Ciao-

So i made it. My trip over here went pretty smooth besides being searched in the airport because i chose to bring 3 feet of beef jerky in my purse-it was considered a weapon. haha. and not noticing the time change in ATL and strolling up to my gate and being the last person on my flight, and besides being dropped off alone by my taxi driver that spoke zero english on a street corner with 3 months worth of luggage that was NOT the street that my apartment was on. After finding the right street I came to two huge wooden doors with huge gold handels above my head i unlocked the doors, walked up the marble starcase and into my beautiful apartment. when you open the shutters you look out onto the beautiful streets of the roman neighborhood, you hear the street musicians down below, and can almost taste the pizza cooking in the restraunt on the bottome floor of my building. i am home at last.

the first day me and sallie my room mate went to the market to buy groceries...we got a little lost and the whole trip took 3 hours. we finally made it to the supermarcati and bought lots of groceries...then we realized we had to carry it all back. we were about 3 miles from our place...that was funnn! for dinner we went to the Il Piccilo Grande Chef, (the little big chef) the restraunt below our apartment-it wasnt long untill we realized the name of the place. a really short really fat man with thick plastic red glasses greeted us and took us to our table. he was the only one working at the whole place. we sat down at 8 and left around 11:30...when in rome... we had a great time though by the end of the night every table was talking back and fourth and they were all making fun of us. we ended the night with hugs and kisses from out new little big friend and cant wait the frequent his tables.

today i came to john cabot university for the first time. it is BELLISSIMO! its a quiet place tucked in a neighborhood with cobblestone streets. palm trees on the roof and ever color of flower growing down the walls. there are big terraces shaded by umbrellas, i guess this is where we will study. its going to be a tough life.

I couldnt be any happier or more comfortable here. I love it and never ever want to leave. I told my dad this morning that he needs to book a flight to come and get me because Im not coming home. Mi Amore everyone and wish you were here!!

Arrivederci,

Analise
